Our delivery area & minimum orders
Inner Bristol Delivery (Grey perimeter)
We deliver Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm. We operate and maintain a 2-3 working day delivery service. See these areas outlined in the GREY perimeter.
*FREE delivery to all postcodes within the black perimeter (minimum order £50.00)
We do not deliver on weekends.
Postcodes include: BS1, BS2, BS3, BS4, BS5, BS6, BS7, BS8, BS9, BS10, BS11, BS13, BS14, BS15, BS16, BS32, BS34, BS36, BS41
Outer Bristol & Bath Delivery (Blue perimeter)
We deliver Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm. We operate and maintain a 3-5 working day delivery service within the outer Bristol & Bath area. See these areas outlined in the BLUE perimeter.
*FREE delivery to all postcodes within the blue perimeter (minimum order £75.00)
We do not deliver on weekends.
Postcodes include: BS35, BS37, BS30, BS31, BS39, BS40, BS48, BS49, BS20, BS21, BA1, BA2, BA3, BA15
SOME ORDERS WILL BE SENT OUT VIA COURIER DURING OUR BUSY PERIOD.
Nationwide
All other deliveries will be sent out via courier. We will send you an email when it has been shipped with tracking details. It typically takes 1-3 working days to arrive once shipped.
*FREE delivery to most UK Mainland ex. N.Ireland and Highlands (minimum order £215) - DUMPY BAGS CANNOT BE DELIVERED VIA COURIER.
Some postcodes will incur a postage fee on check out due to an increase in courier costs.
Please ensure you have access for a 7.5T lorry to reach your delivery address. If you have not let us know and there is not suitable access to deliver then a re-delivery fee for delivery will incur or your order will be returned and there will be a return fee from our courier that will be passed on to the customer.
We can only deliver nets and crates via courier, we cannot courier dumpy bags outside the black or blue perimeter as illustrated on the maps.
In Store
There is no minimum order if you pop into the yard to collect wood. We are open from
8am - 4pm on weekdays and 9am - 1pm on Saturdays.
FAQs
When will I know my delivery date and time?
When you have placed your order, we will contact you within 2 working days to let you know your delivery date and time slot.
If you have requested for a specific date, e.g. 1 week time, we will contact you closer to that date to confirm your time slot for that day. If we cannot do the date you have requested then we will contact you sooner to find an alternative.
Deliveries are made between 9am and 4pm on Monday - Friday. Courier deliveries are typically made between 8am and 6pm Monday - Friday, but a Saturday/Sunday can be made at an additional fee of £50.
Why is there a delivery charge on my order?
There is a minimum spend to qualify for free delivery, based on your location.
Inner Bristol - FREE delivery to all postcodes within the black perimeter (minimum order £50.00)
Outer Bristol & Bath - FREE delivery to all postcodes within the blue perimeter (minimum order £75.00)

Where will the driver leave my order? (INNER BRISTOL)
Unless you have given us instructions on where you would like your order left, our driver will leave it in a safe location for you. It is the customers responsibility to either let us know where they would like it left, or ensure they are in when we deliver.
Can I get next day delivery or request delivery on a specific day? (INNER BRISTOL ONLY)
If you are within our inner Bristol zone then we will try our best to meet your requirements. We cannot always meet next day delivery requests, especially when we are really busy, so please try to get your order in with plenty of time to request delivery for a specific day. If you have more than one day you can accept delivery, then please include these. You can let us know by leaving it in the notes section when placing you order, or drop us an email after (make sure to include your order number).
All orders will receive an email with a date and 2 hour time slot for delivery.
Can I get next day delivery or request delivery on a specific day? (OUTER BRISTOL AND NATIONWIDE)
If you are in our outer Bristol delivery zone, we are likely only to do one run that week to your area. In some cases we will send your order out by Hills courier.
If you are outer Bristol OR nationwide and want next day delivery, we can send your order out by courier, but this will incur an additional £10 charge for delivery. If you want a Saturday or Sunday delivery, it is an extra £50 for courier delivery. Next day orders can only be done if your ordered is placed by 12pm Monday - Friday.
If you do not not require a specific day or next day, then your order will take 1-3 working days to arrive if sent out by courier.
How will the courier deliver? (NATIONWIDE)
All deliveries sent out via courier will be given a tracking number. It will take 1-3 working days to arrive, so you will need to keep an eye on your tracking.
Deliveries are made on 7.5T lorries, and it is the customers responsibility to ensure they have the appropriate access for this size vehicle. Deliveries are typically curbside and the drivers are not required to put it into your garage, garden etc. You may be able to ask the driver if they will do this, but we cannot guarantee they will. If you are not in during delivery, the driver will leave it in a safe place for you.
If there is not the appropriate access or anywhere safe to leave it, e.g. driveway, then there will be a re-delivery charge. This charge will be based on your location.
